I have been in a time of transition for at least the last 3-4 years. During this time, I have weathered the many storms that life can bring, including health problems, career disturbances, and many other karmic events. That old adage, “what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger” is true. Nothing is too difficult to overcome. This is what I’ve learned. The human spirit wants to learn, love, and thrive. I remember sitting in my driveway one evening, watching the sunset, when I thought to myself: where is my life taking me? At that moment, my car doors locked. Startled, I stood up looking around to see if anyone had locked my car doors. After realizing that no one was around, I knew the real reason why they locked. It was a sign from above which was trying to tell me that I was not locked into my current situations. In fact, I could choose to change my life. I started easy, by choosing one thing to focus on. Initially it was my health. I needed to be strong, so that I could have the stamina to live my best life ever! Remember if Rome wasn’t built in a day, than neither is the human journey…it takes a lifetime. We are all here to experience the growth and joy that the creator intended us to have. Each human life and each human journey is important and significant, so make your life count. We all make mistakes, for this is an imperfect world. When you make a mistake acknowledge it and move on. Life is way to short to worry about something from the past. Take charge of your life and decide to take care of yourself, be good to others, and learn from your mistakes. Do what you enjoy!
